Mission

Why this initiative exists

Cyber Security for Life brings high-level cybersecurity expertise, products and practical support to organisations serving people that cannot adequately defend themselves.

Purpose

The problem we respond to

Many organisations that care for people — hospitals, humanitarian groups, charities, schools and community services — face real cyber threats but lack the resources or specialist skills to defend themselves. Professional help is often out of reach.

Connect

Link eligible organisations with professionals, companies and organisations willing to contribute their expertise and tools free of charge within an agreed scope.

Support

Help organisations understand risks, improve their security posture and make practical use of suitable tools.

Protect

Reduce the harm that cyber attacks inflict on the people who depend on these organisations.

Principles

How we work

  • Clear scope, responsibilities and timing agreed before any work begins
  • Free support, honestly bounded — no promised 24/7 response or complete protection
  • No data collection beyond what is needed to match and carry out support
  • Eligibility judged by social purpose, need and access to resources

Portrait of Nino Crudele

Nino Crudele

Founder, Cyber Security for Life

Nino is a cybersecurity expert with extensive experience in red teaming, blue teaming and purple teaming, supported by a deep background in systems integration, cloud architecture, cloud management and governance. This combination enables him to address complex security challenges across technology, operations and organisational processes.

His approach to purple teaming connects offensive and defensive expertise across the full security improvement cycle: understanding threats, assessing exposure, simulating attacks, validating detection and response, and turning findings into practical improvements. His focus extends beyond individual tools and controls to how teams collaborate, refine their methods and continuously strengthen their security capabilities.

With strong foundations across multiple technology disciplines, Nino brings a broad perspective to both strategic decisions and hands-on technical work, helping organisations understand how their systems fit together and where security improvements will have the greatest impact.

A Microsoft MVP for 20 years, an international speaker and holder of multiple cybersecurity certifications, Nino founded Cyber Security for Life to make this expertise freely available to organisations that care for and protect people.
